Carrier Sourcing

Carrier for Freight (or: Carrier Sourcing) - next to TOM (Transport Order Management), one of the two main functional areas being part of the Trans.eu Platform. It is available in TfS, TfF and TfC products. It is used to find the right carrier for freight.

The product supports the following processes:

1. placing bookings (Submit bookings module and Bookings module)
2. creating freights and rules of their publication (Freights and Bookings modules)
3. sending load proposals to groups of carriers and companies within regular cooperation (Bookings/Freights/Inquiries -> Load proposal)
4. defining routes and conditions within regular cooperation with carriers (Regular cooperation module (carriers))
5. Issuing and accepting transport orders (Orders module) as well as acceptance of terms of cooperation (Regular cooperation module (orderers))

The process supported by CFF product ends with sending the order to the carrier. The further part of the process is handled by TOM.
